Victory Community Centre: Equipment for Nursing Clinic

The Victory Community Centre in Nelson established a Nursing Clinic to address the primary healthcare needs of those facing significant barriers to care, including Māori, refugees, migrants, and individuals affected by poverty or the rising cost of living.

As an essential service within the Community Centre, the Nursing Clinic has received funding from The Care Foundation to equip it with vital resources like an examination bed, dressing trolley, stethoscope, and other necessary tools.

'This new equipment is making a real difference in how we can support and care for the people we work with' says the team at the Victory Community Nursing Clinic.
